Residency Focus
As I complete my BFA (Specialization in Electroacoustic Creative Practices) at Concordia University, I’m seeking short, focused residencies that provide hands-on access to historical and large-format modular systems, particularly within the 4U (Buchla / Serge) ecosystem. I'm also specifically interested in contexts where I can contribute my experience with historical electronic instruments such as the ondes Martenot and Mixtur-Trautonium to communities in which these instruments remain active and evolving parts of the musical landscape.

Ideal Format (~10-12 days)

Access: large-format Buchla / Serge / EMS (or closely related modular systems) and historically significant electronic musical instruments

Materials: electronic instruments and field recordings as primary source material; spectral transfer / timbral cross-pollination between recordings and synthesis

Method: a structured progression from focused technical études to long-form constructions, followed by refinement and documentation

Outcomes: multichannel composition and live performance materials; detailed research notes and clear process documentation suitable for archival or institutional use

Preferred Contexts
I’m interested in both academic institutions and independent/private centres that support concentrated studio research, performance development, and documentation within modular, historical and multichannel electronic composition and performance environments.
